Cabela's can be described as the home of many wonderful things. The facility is completely free and includes a lot of helpful features to make your stay even more pleasant. There are dog kennels, full hookups, as well as a huge horse pen. It is a great spot to take your dogs for some fun in the sun.
This campout isn’t for everyone, but it’s a great place to go if you have limited funds. This is especially true when you are traveling with pets. Pet kennels are available at a cost. There's also a cleanout for your vehicles and potable water in the parking lot. This is especially true if you're visiting during the winter months when the weather isn't as conducive to hiking, biking, or boating.
The awnings and the big green house may be a little dated, but the amenities here are top notch. They even have a mini-museum featuring a number of interesting items from the past. There's also an interactive game for children. Overall, this RV park is great for weary travelers. They even have full hookups available for those who don’t have their own. Only problem is the heat and noise from the fridge trailers, which can be very annoying at night.
Cabela's is a great place to visit and camp. But the fun begins when you get out of your car. There is a massive wild life exhibit to admire, as also the miniature museum. You'll also find a lot of outdoor gear, as there are many other attractions.
