You could also visit Jackson, Wyoming and West Yellowstone Montana if time permits. There are numerous lodging options and shops in West Yellowstone.

If you plan to be in the park long-term, you will need a recreational pass. You can also make reservations to camp or for other activities. These can be booked for a fee.

While the park's northern section is more barren, the west side is lush. There are many trails that you can explore. You can spend as long as a week or as little time as you like exploring the park. You can also hike the trail for four miles to view some of the most beautiful views in this park.
