The Ichetucknee Family Campground offers the chance to rent cabins or stay in an RV. You can also paddle the Ichetucknee River. It is located in Fort White Florida and offers many amenities.
You can choose between a tent and a primitive camping site for camping. The sewage disposal station is available for RV camping. You can also rent rafts for paddling the Ichetucknee River. It's also possible to book a group campsite. If you choose to do so, you will be able to enjoy a spacious and peaceful campsite. The campsite also offers a volleyball net, a basketball hoop, picnic tables and a basketball court.
The campground is just a few minutes from the Ichetucknee State Park. This park is a great place for tubing and boating. It is six miles long and has clear, transparent waters. It flows from freshwater springs and is a great source of water for swimming. Outdoor grills are available for those who don't feel comfortable going on the river. You can also rent a canoe or kayak.
The campground can be accessed all year. Fireworks can be enjoyed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. You will find a small store near the entrance. You can find everything here, including cigarettes as well as scuba gear. The general store rents tubes.
Campgrounds are great places to stay. But there are some things that you should keep in mind. First, ensure you understand the rules. Dog owners must ensure that their dogs are not allowed to bark and must keep them in a designated area.

There is an entry fee for anyone who plans to visit the Ichetucknee River. There is a $10 charge for non-campers. You can also rent kayaks, canoes and tubes. If you are visiting for the weekend you can reserve one or more of the 750 spots that lie along the northern side of the river. There is a shuttle service if you need it.
