Cabela's can be described as the home of many wonderful things. It's free to stay at and offers a plethora of features to make your trip that much easier. The amenities include a spacious horse pen, full hookups and dog kennels. This is a fantastic place to take your dog for some sun-soaked fun.
The campout is not for the faint-hearted, but it is one of the best places to visit if you have a limited budget. This is especially true for pets. Pet kennels can be rented for a nominal fee. A cleanout service is available for your vehicles, and there's potable water available in the parking area. This is especially important if you visit during winter months, when the weather isn’t so favorable for hiking, biking, and boating.
While the awnings are somewhat outdated and the large green house is a bit outdated they still offer top-notch amenities. A mini-museum displays a variety of items from the past. A game is also available for children. All in all, this park is perfect for weary travelers. There are full hookups as well for those who do not have their own. There is one downside to this park: the constant heat and noise, especially when the refrigerator trailers run all night.
Cabela’s Park is great for many reasons. But, the real fun begins when you get outside your car. You can admire the huge wildlife display, as well as the miniature museum. There are also many other attractions such as a wide selection of outdoor gear and an assortment of outdoor sports equipment.
