Although it is located a bit further than Big Bear Family Campground and offers easy access to the Snow Summit Sky Chair as well as many local hiking trails, it is still within reach of Big Bear Family Campground. It is also home to a small marina with boat rentals, as well as a convenience store. It is home to many native grasses and shady trees.
